Cyber bullying

Summary- Bullying had always been an issue for some children growing up, now it takes on another role through different means of communication. This article is presented so that the directed audience is any teacher or parent looking for advice on how to prevent and deal with cyber bullying. It shows that the way children are getting bullied has changed and our way of thinking about how to deal with bullying needs to change as well. This article is helpful in explaining different ways to teach acceptance as well as better solutions to express their feelings.
Assess- The article is written by a professor, blogger, and author of the Bullying Prevention Play. The information is constructed of what she thinks will make a difference from her own experiences. She wrote the article February 9, 2015 which is pretty up-to-date for this topic. As well, she did write this article for the point of view of the teachers and parents. The other viewpoints that could be addressed would be the students getting bullied, or even the bully him/herself.

Summary- This video is creatively put together to illustrate that though cyber bullying is not physical torment, the effects are just as emotionally devastating and scarring. This video is for anyone who has been a cyber bully, been cyber bullied themselves, or witnessed cyber bullying to stand up and, "Stop.Block.Tell." This information is more of a public service announcement to help people think about their actions before posting or get help when needed.

Assess- The video is produced by Luke Culhane who makes other YouTube videos on his channel. He uploaded it just two weeks ago on his page. The viewpoints covered were the bully, the victim, and any person who is standing by. Taking into consideration these three viewpoints was a great idea.
